Copenhagen Airport (CPH) lies 8 km away from Copenhagen city centre. The airport is the main hub for several airlines including Scandinavian Airlines and Norwegian Air Shuttle. There are 4 terminals,with Terminal 1 being specifically designated for domestic flights. All passengers from international flights with pass through Copenhagen airport arrivals Terminal 3. The terminals are connected by a free shuttle service for passengers to use.

Copenhagen Aiport has a very good transport system to and from the airport. There are five different ways you can access or depart from the airport:
By train – the underground railway station is underneath Terminal 3 and connects the airport with downtown Copenhagen Central Station, about a 20-minute ride. Trains depart every 10 minutes and a three-zone ticket costs DKK 36. The trains operate with domestic destinations (Esbjerg, Århus, Alborg or Sønderborg), international stops in Sweden (Malmö, Gothenburg, Kalmar. Karlskrona or Ystad where you can take a connecting ferry to Danish Bornholm island) and Germany (Flensburg).
By Metro – Copenhagen Metro station is located at the end of Terminal 3, two floors above the train station. Line M2 connects the airport with the city centre. The metro stops at Kongens Nytorv, Nørreport, Frederiksberg and Vanløse. Daytime travel intervals are 4-6 minutes and 15-20 minutes during nighttime. Ticket costs the same as for the train and the bus, DKK 36. Tickets can be bought at the metro station and at the DSB counters in Terminal 3. It takes a three-zone ticket to reach Copenhagen Central Station.
By bus – Buses that stop at the airport: 5A, 35, 36, 888 in T2 and T3 (express to Jutland with stops in Aalborg, Aarhus, Silkeborg, Randers, Viborg and Hobro) and Gråhundbus 999 in T3 (coming from Malmo and stopping in Sydhavnen in the South Harbour, Kongens Nytorv beside the Royal Theatre, Nørreport and the Town Hall Square in Copenhagen city centre. Bus Movia 2A stops close to the airport. Buses to Norway and Sweden are Swebus 820 to Oslo (with a stop in Gothenburg), Swebus 832 to Uppsala (with a stop in Stockholm), GoByBus and Bus4You lines. Bus fare to Copenhagen is DKK 36.
By taxi – taxi ranks are outside all terminals T1, T2 and T3. They can also pick up passengers from outside all Copenhagen airport arrivals areas (T1 & T3). Taxis accepting journeys to Sweden are located outside Terminal 3. A taxi ride to Copenhagen city centre will cost DKK 250 – 350. Taxi fare includes VAT and tip. It can be paid by card.
By car – the motorway E20 beside the airport runs to Sweden using the toll road Øresund Bridge. Passengers that want to use some of 8,600 airport parking spaces can be booked in advance.
